50% shorter invoicing time
During 2016 and 2017, Jaxbird AB has educated personnel at Jaco Maskinservice AB in continuous collaborator-driven improvements – Lean. This task included the introduction of the 5S method to get a more efficient working environment and value flow analysis, and thus a more efficient main process “from ordering to invoicing”.
After 10 months, the processing time for a work order has been shortened by 50%. Through the collaborative identification of all co-workers and the removal of so-called “inefficiencies”, they have contributed to improving the processing time.
